1. Wisdom Teeth Removal (Third Molar Surgery)

What Is Wisdom Tooth Impaction?

A wisdom tooth becomes impacted when it does not have enough space to grow properly. It may:

  • Grow at an angle

  • Remain partially inside the gums

  • Press against the adjacent tooth

  • Stay deep within the jawbone

Impacted wisdom teeth can lead to:

  • Severe pain

  • Swelling

  • Repeated infections

  • Difficulty opening the mouth

  • Damage to neighboring teeth

  • Cysts or bone loss

Why Should Wisdom Teeth Be Removed?

You may require surgical removal if you have:

  • Pain or swelling

  • Recurrent gum infection

  • Tooth decay in the wisdom tooth

  • Damage to the next tooth

  • Persistent bad breath

  • Jaw stiffness

  • Cyst formation risk

  • Planned orthodontic treatment (braces)

At Apple Dental Care, our surgeons ensure a painless, safe, and minimally invasive extraction with faster healing.
